Do you read everything you get in the mail? Do you even look at it all?
Newsletters from the electric company, Free investing magazines, 12-page fold-out brochures about some kind of discount program or product of the month club.
The answer is that you read it if you're interested; otherwise, it's a waste of time and paper. So if someone has something that interests you, you would like them to let you know what it is in a heartbeat, and then you would like them to get to the point.
If you can communicate with a single word or image what you offer, you are more likely to get the attention of the people who may be interested. And you are more likely to hold their attention if you are considerate of their time, their patience, and their attention span.
